I bow to the incomparable golden-bodied, son of the Wind God, who is respected by the wise, possessing all virtues, the leader of the monkeys, and beloved devotee of Lord Rama.
The 6th house signifies the unresolved karmic debts and pending obligations from our past lives. It sheds light on issues such as diseases, debts, legal disputes, and outstanding loans that we could not fulfill in previous lives. This house represents the challenging aspects of our karma, which manifest as adversarial relationships, financial obligations, struggles, and barriers in our path towards helping others in life. Additionally, it symbolizes the consistency and discipline required in our daily work routine. However, the 6th house also holds the potential to enhance the quality of our lives, as it encompasses the concepts of service, conscious decision-making, personal principles, and self-discipline.
Self-discipline is crucial for success, and the strength of the 6th house and its lord can greatly support a person in achieving their goals. This house is also the 8th from the 11th house, which represents income and the fulfillment of desires. However, the 6th house and the 11th house can create obstacles for each other in materialistic pursuits, leading to debts, diseases, and legal issues.
The type and severity of illnesses can be determined from the 6th house. If the significator of this house, Mars, is well-placed and strong, and the Ascendant and its lord are in good dignity, one can overcome the challenges associated with this house. Unafflicted Rahu can also bring positive outcomes, while a strong Saturn can help maintain discipline in life.
The 6th house can indicate pending karma, and if it is heavily afflicted, one may need to make continuous efforts to overcome these issues. Sometimes, individuals do not receive proper guidance and help, and their remedies seem to be ineffective.
It is believed that destiny can be changed, and one can experience magic in their lives. Hanuman Ji, who symbolizes courage and strength, can help overcome the difficulties related to the 6th house. The 3rd house, which represents karma related to the 6th house, is influenced by Mars and Mercury. By believing in ourselves and harnessing our inner strength, we can conquer the challenges of the 6th house.
In Hanuman Bahuk, a prayer composed by Tulsidas, one can find guidance on how to overcome sorrow and pain. In the verse 35, tulsidas Ji wrote
Illnesses, evil persons, inauspicious stars Have encircled me all round. As during day, clusters of clouds in sky, Spread, running all over are found. They rained down water in form of pain And for no fault of mine, at all. They scorched grass of glories down have Made it lose sensation and fall.
Tulsidas Ji wrote this prayer when he was suffering from severe physical pain, particularly in his arms. He talks about how his body is experiencing suffering due to his own karma, and no remedy, yantra, tantra, or mantra seems to provide relief.
Hanuman Ji is the Cheeranjivi and has the power to control the malefic effects of planets and alleviate suffering. Only he can sever the cords of suffering. Mars, the karaka of the 6th house, is associated with Hanuman Ji’s energy. Tulsidas Ji demonstrated through the prayer that only Hanuman Ji can uplift us from the materialistic pain and suffering of this world.
ॐ श्री वज्रदेहाय रामभक्ताय वायुपुत्राय नमोस्तुते ।
I offer my salutations to Lord Hanuman, whose body is as strong as a diamond, who is a devoted follower of Lord Rama, and the son of the Wind God.
